  1. I eat a lot of meat, nearly every day and I can't imagine dinner without meat. I may be wrong but I will never be a vegetarian. - s12590

  2. Meat is one of the most important sources of supplying many nutrients. These are particularly protein, which are containing all the amino acids, vitamins of group B, vitamin B12 which is not present in plant foods, vitamins A and D, fats, saturated and unsaturated, iron, zinc and copper. Soybeans, which vegetarians eat, do not provide all of these ingredient. Then you need to look for additional sources of nutrients. Same vitamins do not provide the proper development and functioning of the body.
Personally, I have nothing against vegetarians, it is their choice. Everyone can eat whatever he wants. I also I eat meat, but not a huge amount. Especially during dinner, besides it, rarely. But I could not exclude completely meat from my diet. Even if it would be helpful to our world.

  3. Meat eating total ban is completly stupid because it provides huge inequalities. People who don't eat meat at all because of their religion or belifes are in better position than people who want to eat meat. Every human should have his own choice how to live. Of course there are some boundaries (for example if any human is suffering). There is a problem with environment or animal suffer. There will be a better control of foodmaking quality. It will improve humatarian treatment of livestock and helps recycle their waste. Of course another problem is food wasting...

  4. Very interesting and thought-provoking article! I am vege almost a year, but still eat eggs and fish. I do not eat meat and dairy products. I am happy to share with you my experience withdrawal meat. I gave up meat with my boyfriend after reading the book Michael Tombak "Road to Health" (highly recommend). The book describes how the meat is bad for our bodies. 1. Nowadays, meat bought in stores contains a very large quantity of antibiotics that weaken our immune system. 2. Animal fat is unhealthy, it contributes to diseases such as arteriosclerosis, hypertension and obesity.
    3. Muscle fibers are not completely digested by the body, half of the fibers remain in the gut and rot (like dairy products), forming faecal impaction in the gut !!
By fecal stones, which stick to the intestinal wall, the body can not absorb vitamins and precious trace elements.

Since I do not eat meat and dairy products, my skin has improved greatly, does not stop the water body, and I have a lot more energy. I do not miss any elements or vitamins, because the fish, eggs and vegetables have everything we need.
If you want to change your life for the better, try to reduce the consumption of meat and dairy products - you'll see a big difference!

  5. Very interesting article, but I personaly can't imagine live without meat. Meat has a lot of good thngs such as protein, microelements and vitamins. Secondly, today's crop plants very , different from a few years ago. Today to cultivation, farmers use a lot chemical treatments or biological modification whitch we in futture eat with botanical. Aftermath are diseases such as cancer or different horrible disease. So in today world, I think that very hard have a healthy diet.

  6. I can't imagine myself a vegetarian neither! I am just used to it so much... However, I think that neither extreme is good and we should always look for the golden mean. I know that meat is a better source of proteins and some vitamins than most of plants. But fast expansion od meat industry affected those rates. Unfortunately good quality food is expensive and most people buy cheaper meat which I think is not as much as we think of. Similar thing applies to plants as well. As Adam mentioned farmers use pesticides. And there's also a case of GMO... I also heard that red meat was recently classified as 'probably carcinogenic'... I think that everybody should take such news with a pinch of salt.

  7. Very good article, but In my diet is always meat. My training food must contain some meat to build muscle mass. Without this we can’t be strong - it is impracticable. How would I do without meat ?

On the other hand I often emphasize the importance of education here. Not everyone knows how factory farming, not everyone in free time reading the latest medical research and analyzes their results. Today, what it is a healthy tomorrow turns out to be the biggest poison. And to make matters worse on top of all this facing the media and multimillion-dollar companies that cleverly and quite effectively manipulate us and facts to clear our pockets and wallets with cash.

During reading an article I have wondered what would have happened to animals in times of vegetarianism. Where will they live if we don’t have a lot of space. We started selectively breeding animals many, many thousands of years ago.

  8. We will live happily ever after since the lives of all animals, constantly disrupted by people killing them for food, are restored to their natural state. The animals will no longer be unnecessarily fed with antibiotics and other medicines, when people's demand for meat is reduced.

  9. On the one hand, meat provides fatty acids, which are very unhealthy. But on the other hand it is a perfect source of protein and iron. The meat has calcium and a lot of phosphorus and zinc, and copper, magnesium, sulfur. It is a very good source of all vitamins Group B, which are responsible for the proper the functioning of the nervous system and metabolism of proteins, fats and carbohydrates. The dispute between vegetarians and carnivores lasts for years. In my opinion, we need the meat, but not in large quantities and not all kinds. It is better to eat poultry, as producing those has a lesser impact over our environment. We should give up pork and beef.

  10. I heard first time about connecting eating meat with greenhouse gases emiting... I am already totally disgusted about reading and hearing about "wege" things.
For me it looks like that people mostly doesn't listen to wege people and still eats meet. So they needed to find one more explanation, one more reason. I'm curious what new they invent in next few months or years :)
I'm carnivorous and I'm not going to change that.
Basically I do not read the articles neither PRO-wege nor PRO-carnivorous. I eat what I like and I don't worry about any deductions.

  11. I cant imagine life without meat in my diet, I know people that are hardcore vegan, I respect that its their body, but I dont support enforcing diet on other people. The only diet I could go for is paleo.
