  2. Is it good or bad remains to be seen. The European Union without England will be still exists. And also England will be exists without The European Union. This happened, what had to come. Undoubtedly, this result was expected, but it is also shocking for many people. From the most European capitals comes concern about the uncertain future of our continent. But if in a few years we will see that the United Kingdom after leaving the European Union, will begin to develop much faster and achieve success outside the EU, this could be the beginning of the end of the European Union.

  3. On the other hand Brexit will be a chance for our country. Many financial institution and IT center at the moment is localized in England. Probably in a few years these companies must relocate offices from Great Britain (most offices are located in London).

Privatly, I think that Brexit process will last for many years and will not be spectacular. Probably European Union adjusts his law for England requirements and Brexit will become obsolete. I hope, because I can not imagine European Union without Great Britain.

  4. In my opinion, the British People did not know what I Brexit What it will bring consequences. I read on the internet that a large number of people voting at brexit did not know what it really is!
I do not understand how you can decide to hold a vote on a dry an important issue and have no idea about this. It is simply reckless and irresponsible. For now, we only know a few facts about what happens when Britain really leave the EU, but we can not be sure about this. Most likely the most to lose on the UK because they will not have financial support from the EU and will be excluded from the Major Decisions. Transport of products to the European Union will be more difficult because it will come from the EU zone.
Brexit also badly affected the stupid mentality of the British people. They Began to be racists for other countries, most Polish people living in Britain.

  5. Great Britain before enter to EU had a power of economy
with good standing currency. At this moment, nobody know how many economic sectors are in good conditions. I support comment with Kamil Warpechowski that Brexit will be chance for our country and others. It might be able to involve our development with British customers and contractors.
However, Brexit unable every Polish easy migration to GB for benefits or better lifestyles without difficulties.

  6. Being a member of European Union brings several benefits. One of the most important is freedom of trades and materials exchange between other members of EU. Not paying any additional taxes related to goods and services exchange enables easy markets consolidation across countries. It’s really important especially for Great Britain which economy is concentrated on providing (financial) services to other European countries. It’s not clear yet on what conditions UK can count on after leaving the European family. This may lead to major issue – increase of prices for imported goods.

We have to be aware of the fact that UK economy is based on immigrants. They are not only beneficiaries of British social funds but also one of the most important parts of job market in general. Very often immigrants are hired for positions which are not interesting for native Brits either due to low salary of because of fact that it’s a low standard job. Quitting EU means necessity to answer question what the government is going to do with immigrants which are already part of British society and how to handle the same positions if future.

  7. In my opinion British people have a high opinion about themself. They still are thinking about "Great Britain" - which has a lot of colonies etc. But to be honest, nowadays it's nothing special. It's only one of many countries, but just with a nice history. EU shouldn't treat UK in special way after their leaving.
If UK totally close their borders for immigrants (as we can hear - this is the main purpose of many citizens) then it would be a bit funny for me, when they realize that part of these NOBLE CITIZENS of THAT GREAT BRITAIN need to go to work in shops or clean up streets, toilets etc. as a substitute for Poles and other minor (less noble) nations.

But from the other side - I do not blame them totally. EU is like a cabaret now. Accepting refugees, a willingness to accept Turkey into the Union? Come on... Until a few years, several such dumb ideas and the whole idea of union will fall apart.

    1. Haha your comment on EU reminded me a funny and yet a little depressing presentation of Michael O'Leary - a CEO of Ryaniar - held, I believe, in Brussels. I recommend all of you to watch it, it's around 17 minutes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p4HYSsrlcq8

  8. I think that consequence of Brexit will reach both England as well as European Union. First of all, we have to wonder why it happened. Why people in England voted for Brexit without even knowing what European Union is. According to Google Data trends the search of questions like “what is the eu” and “what is Brexit” stared to grow after the pools closed, only then British people started thinking seriously about the implications of their choice. The consequence of Brexit will be the process of living EU, which will last for many years. British government will have to negotiate new terms of cooperation with EU, about access to the foreign European market, migrations and any other regulations. It will cause problems with their economy.

  9. Long-term consequences are hard to be foreseen. There was not such incident in the whole history of European Union when one of its members left those structures. It is a high stake game both for United Kingdom and the EU. What can be lost is unrestricted exchange of people and goods. People voted for leaving in reaction to planed imigrant policy without even trying to predict other implications.

  10. We know that UE isn’t perfect. It has really problems with emigration. Of this and many other reasons people from United Kingdom decided to leave European Union. In my opinion it was huge mistake. At the present we know that one the side effects is weak pound. This is their price for independence. On the other hand UK didn’t gain too much by going to the EU. It had to pay dues and in return - it got less. Because of that it is hard to be surprised of British decision. They prefer to live as before, have stronger economy, haven’t problem with immigrants.
There is the other side of the coin. United Kingdom contains 4 countries (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland). For leaving the EU was mainly England. So Scotch government decided to submit apply for independence. In 2014 the same request fails, but then no one had heard of leaving the UK with EU. Maybe Scotland leave the European Union as a UK and returns to us as an independent country

  11. It is still unclear how will things unfold, I've read somewhere that analysts knew about brexit for quite some time now - so in the long run I think it will be okay, and its not that "hardcore" as people tend to say it is.

  12. I agree with Sylwia - many Brits just didn't know what they are voting for. I red articles claiming that many people were shocked when they realised what leaving EU could mean to GB.
This article (http://www.npr.org/sections/alltechconsidered/2016/06/24/480949383/britains-google-searches-for-what-is-the-eu-spike-after-brexit-vote) shows what were trending queries in Goolge search right after the ballot. That shows how weak tool of democracy a referendum is... in fact, ignorant people decided about matters they have a very little knowledge about. They believed what they were told by people on TV and the Internet. I am not sure if that's true, but I heard that Nigel Farage applied for a German citizenship (I guess his wife is German)... Really? A person who convinced people to vote for leaving EU personally wants to stay in EU...

  13. I think that nobody know the full answer on that questions. I hope that "Brexit" will be just a symbolic act of disapproval of British community with EU politic. it should be a lesson for EU community. It is the first time in EU history when the "country" decided to get out of EU. Im sure that this years will be full of negotiations how this procedure should take place and what international agreements should be changed and which not.

  14. I don't think there will be so much difference.. there are so many countries that aren't in the EU and.. people live there, work, study, rise children..
However I'm very curious what effect will it have on our economics and political environment.
