Being Active – Spring
is coming
Well, spring is coming - it is often
time when we decide that we will begin to run, exercise,
go rollerblading, biking, volleyball, football, go swimming.
What are the main reasons to do that?
http://www.intrepid-geophysics.com/ig/uploads/images/Training.jpg |
Do we want to be fit and in a good condition? We all know that being fit
means keeping high physical form by proper training and a diet. With exercises we are provided with well-being, this is all thanks to endorphins, which are released
during exercises, some people say that these are healthy drugs.

Unfortunately, to our
misfortune donut gives us a similar
feeling, which raises our blood sugar levels:

I met many people who
have become addicted to a physical
activity, without which they feel simply wrong. Regular trainings
bring the rhythm of the week,
allow the planning of time and have a positive effect on our mood.
Or maybe it's about being healthy?
Most of us don’t move at all during working hours, and due to the consequences associated with this – e.g. back pains - we decide to strengthen our body. We start to run, go to the gym etc. What often causes many concussions – breaking up ligaments, tendons spoof, turn of ponds. It is all because our body is not prepared to these kind of activities. This is one aspect.

Secondly, we really do not know how to do that? Or we
experiment with our body?
There are many training plans available on the internet, but
in my opinion it is better to find a trainer who will provide you with all
necessary information, who will take care of us and will watch us training. The
biggest problem with the internet trainings is that no one is observing us so
our mistakes will not get corrected, what may cause concussions.

Maybe someone is thinking that after
spring summer will come, and we will have to show up on
the beach?
Many people exercise to have a perfect figure – these people usually prefer all exercises which do not require weights – running, dancing or step.

I think for many of us, the weather conditions in the spring are simply cool and encourage us to spend time outdoors. That is why many people choose to bike instead of using a car or public transport in the spring time. Recently Nordic walking became a very popular activity - every day one can see a lot of people who walk with sticks.
I wanted you to propose a conversation about being active and training. I know in our group there are many people that take part in running competitions, some of us train regularly.
What are your favorite activities? How did you start? How would you convince lazy bones to start doing sports regularly?

Besides playing football and training, I really enjoy running - it's kind of relaxing therapy for me after stressful day. I just plug in my headphones, play audiobook or stimulating music, warm up and start running.
ReplyDeleteI've noticed that many people forget to warm up before running which is really important. Jogging is of course a part of every warm up, but before any long-term physical activity you must warm up every part of our mussels!
The second thing is that people are usually too eager at the beginning, they start with 10 kilometres and the next day they're dying from the pain and then they're making a long brake because of muscle sores. It's better start with shorter distances, but train regularly.
Last, but not least it's very important to remember about stretching up after the training. It could prevent pain and sometimes stop muscle sores from happening.
How to convince lazy bones? Make them realize that even a ordinary one hour walk taken daily would burn some fat.
And some tips from the specialists:

Thanks for your comment, it is very valuable, especially for those who want to start running. I've noticed recently that I'm on the estate, a lot of people running around in the evening along the one of the streets is running-strade.
DeletePersonally, I hate to run, this is one of the few activities, which I never feel like it.
By the way, warm-up and stretching are really the foundation of any workout, no matter whether it is running, soccer, volleyball, cycling, skiing, snowboarding.
I have to admit, I'm a lazy bone every winter...
ReplyDeleteSince I live in Warsaw I have no motivation to make some indoor sport. I prefer outdoor activities, so when I lived in Katowice I've had mountains 60km from home. It was a good motivator to take my snowboard and now? I left my snowboard in my hometown.
So spring is very good pretext for me to start doing something! I miss rollerblades so I hope I'm gona try this again very soon!
I very like swimming. But during winter I have usually problems with sinuses and ears so I have to resign from swimming pool during winter time. But well... spring is coming, no excuses anymore! :)
Iza, maybe you should write more about convincing lazy bones since you are not one of them for sure? :)
Hi Aga, thanks for you frank comment - you know that I appreciate it.
DeleteThe problem with me is that I have too many ideas for one minute that I would like to realize, and therefore probably I'll get some sleep on retirement, because there will be no occasion earlier. I think that you have already observed that I have problems to sit in one place for a longer time.
I'm a little bit ashamed to admit that I do not do any sports. Maybe it would sound pathetic for those who can not imagine their lives without exercises, but after returning from work (thought it's mostly sedentary), I find myself so tired that I hardly find any motivation to get up from a sofa. What is more, it is not that after finishing my job I do not have anything to do but relax. It is completely different, I have plenty of additional responsibilities that mostly concern taking care of my baby. Because of that, regularly I feel like I am having not one but two full-time jobs.
ReplyDeleteOf course I am aware of all the pros of being active (increased sense of happiness, healthy body, pretty silhouette, etc.) but somehow I am still passive, and I can not find a reason to start exercising regularly.
Maybe you can give me a piece of advice how to change my motivation, of course taking into consideration that I have already heard almost all of them? :-)
Piotr appropriately selected effort oxygenates the mind, reduces stress levels, contributes to the regeneration ability and mental strength.
DeleteYou work intellectually - rest physically!
Make a gift for your brain - and note: TODAY is a great time to get started - because today is the European Day of the Brain ;)
Nice try to convince me, but I feel that it is not enough and I would need something extra! ;-)
DeleteWhen I started to work full-time, it seemed to me that I have no strength for anything. That changed when I started to exercise at least 3 times a week; after work I go to fitness classes at 8:30 pm - I have much more strength and work in the office does not make me so tired.
DeleteWhen talking about taking care for a child - during pregnancy, I wondered what I would do when little something will be here, because I could not imagine myself without physical activity, on the other hand I could not imagine leave my daughter with anyone for a long time. I found out that there are classes designed for moms with babies. That there is a trolley, with which you can roller-blade. You can go for a walk. There are really many things you can do if you want to:
I've added one more picture to my presentation, I think it is really true:
Deletehttps://fbcdn-sphotos-e-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-prn1/t1/1962630_676763169032087_435058091_n.jpg
Ok, so maybe ... Did you know that building muscle tissue of children differs from the adult muscle tissue. As a result, the children more slowly get tired, which makes them all day to work at top speed. And now think, when your child starts to walk, how you manage to keep up with him without the proper condition? Fortunately, you can increase the condition through exercise, and without any problems and shortness of breath you will be able to chase your toddler when he start lo learn to ride a bike. So, what about that????
DeleteIza, I did not say that I do not have time, but I do not have the strength to be active :-) But seriously. Of course, you are right, there are many things I can do! Walking or cycling sounds like fun and easy to make at the same time. I already have the motivation (thanks to Mariusz), and I believe that I can implement this ambitious plan into practice.
DeleteI think the most important is to start, and survive first month - after that time one can get addicted ;) Specially when spending time together with friends or family.
DeleteYou can begin with taking your son (?) for a walk, after work - believe me it will be good for everyone:
1. your child will have an opportunity to spend some time out side
2. you will have possibility to move your self
3. mom of your child will bless the moment of being alone :D
Motivation works! I had my first walk today! :-) It was quite nice and I have to admit that this kind of activity suits me very well! Thank you all for your good advice!
DeleteYes, it is convincing! The moment when my kid starts to walk is approaching very fast. He already is full of energy and very often I am not able to keep up with him. So definitely I should take care for my condition, because otherwise I can not handle with him the way I would like to.
ReplyDeleteSo I managed to convince you :)) I am very glad. I recommend endurance sports - marches, running, cycling, swimming.
DeleteI have to admit that I slowly awakening from hibernation (winter sleep). Because of small health problems, I had to stop exercises for some time, but now surely come back to them. When I trained at the gym (not only strenght-trained but also endurance), I felt that I relax after a hard day's work. My brain was better oxygenated which resulted in a much better concentration. I had much more energy.
ReplyDeleteSince I am not a specialist in the field of training, I decided to ask for help from a personal trainer. Soon I get a "tailor-made" training plan. I think it's very important that exercise, their intensity and frequency, are adjusted individually to each individual. Iza I'm glad that you turned attention to this fact in the presentation - training plans, available on the internet, can sometimes do more harm than good. Especially for those who are just starting their adventure with sport. If we are serious about exercises, such as the gym, is worth investing in expert advice. This will help avoid many mistakes and injuries and consequently the decrease of motivation to exercise, or even discouragement.
To get the most benefits from exercise, we need to remember about proper diet. Another will be for building muscle mass, another for distance runners. For both of these groups the diet is necessary to maximize the effect of training. Adjusted accordingly - helps to train longer, delaying tiredness, ensures faster recovery after exercise. On this topic also we can find hundreds of articles on websites. Like with the training plan I bet on individual recommendations. We are all different - body weight, age, frequency of training. There is no single prescription for all.
Hi Iza! Good topic!
ReplyDeleteI counted my activities and this is the list:
1. Running with my huskys
2. Football
3. Squash
4. Jogging
5. Wrestling whit my computer mouse
Unfortunately I do not spend as much time on activities from 1 to 4 as I would like to. Most of the time I train my 5th activity. I have some motivating speeches for myself but they not always are successful. One way that keeps me from abandoning activities 1-4 is look of myself in a mirror. This always helps.
Sławek, I've just seen on facebook that you were running :) I'm really proud :D
DeleteI'm not physically active at all. I know this have to change. At my previous job (as a teacher) I was constantly in motion. Now (as a programmer) I spend my whole work day sitting at my desk. My weight visibly increased after only couple of months.
ReplyDeleteIt's very clear to me I need to become more physically active. The problem is I never learned to take pleasure in physical activity. For me it is always a choir and it takes a lot of my strength to force myself to do it. Every couple of months I succeed - once. In the past year: I went running in a park - once; I attended a Zumba class - once; I did a workout with weights - once. I just can't seem to form a habit. I'd LOVE to became addicted to some for of physical activity, the way I'm "addicted" to podcasts now. Unfortunately I haven't succeeded yet. I'll keep trying.
Hi Ludwik, thanks for the comment - you have to be careful, because after this week, you will not imagine a week without motion :)
DeleteHave you ever thought about it that way to get off a stop earlier or leave your car on another street? And on the way home to act similarly?
This may be the first step if you are not motivated to go to the gym, or go running after work. The second step would be switch of mechanical transport to bike :)
Regular training (at least once a week) was my New’s Year resolution in 2014. But I broke this one in February. Yeah. My lazy bones were stronger than my mind :) But this time I’m going to jogging and riding my bike. The weather is beautiful and I’ll try a little of this and a little of that.
ReplyDeleteAneta, thanks you for your comment. I'll keep my fingers crossed ;)
ReplyDeleteI think that the spring time is really motivating. Because in the winter we don't like to put all necessary cloths on, then taking these off it's dificult
Interesting comments we have here. Part says sport is a pleasure and could be addictive, others that its hard and little motivating. I think both experiences are perfectly "legal" :)
ReplyDeleteI used to do different sports: from games like football, tennis and ping pong to classical running, swimming and " gymming". For me games used to work better, because of socialization factor, you play and you talk and you rival.
Classical activities (like running, swimming or going to the gym) always was boring to me. Being addicted to information, I felt like I am wasting time doing all these physical activities.
Audiobooks and podcasts have solved that problem slightly, but not fully.
I can't seems to get "addicted" to sports. Even when I was running regularly for 4 month I haven't felt any better than not doing that and I haven't had that "I want to run" feeling.
Also, nature of my work (frequent travels) does not allow me to establish a routine which I believe much needed for regular workouts.
Having said all that, I still try to do some workouts as regularly as I can.
For that I bought the following tools that help me:
http://allegro.pl/wielofunkcyjny-drazek-do-cwiczen-xg064-do120kg-12e-i4038085922.html
(this one is good, because you don't need to specially install it. It suits any apartment where there are doors, could be set in few seconds and you're ready.
http://allegro.pl/mata-do-cwiczen-fitness-170x60x0-4cm-niebieska-i4044832230.html
When I have time at home, I set up those 2 simple tools turn on Youtube and do 20-40 minute session of "sports".
Some of you might think it's not serious, but hey, it works for me.
That's what I believe is the most important for those who want to do any activities: find what works for you.
p.s. for those who runs, try smth like this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sixtostart.zombiesrun (a tracker and a "motivation" )
Hi. I'm glad you've tackled the topic of regular physical activity, as I find this subject quite important. However, I must admit I really neglect this area of my life. My main excuse is naturally the lack of time. The truth is, however, that even if you have many other duties and activities, there is always sth you can do for your body. If I finally find some time for myself, I usually choose a workout at the gym or going to a swimming pool. It helps me relax and release the stress of the day. Surprisingly, after excercises I feel I have even more energy. Thanks for the article, as you reminded me of what I have forgotten lately.
ReplyDeleteI've been training martial arts for more than 13 years now. Even though I've been phisically active for so long time I have had few whiles when I couldn't excersie because of physical problems. Those were even half an year breaks and I remember returning to sport being ultimately hard. Only because I'm really into martial arts lore I could return to active sport. It's hard for everyone and I don't see any other way to start doing sport regulary than to just to get interested in same topic. It can be even love for bicycle gadgets. I noticed many times that if you are not training regulary you will not be happy about getting exhausted. It's not a problem after few months of regular training. Then it's getting to be just a regular activity ... as eating breakfast. If the food is good – you are happy and want to eat it every day. Or something like that....
ReplyDeleteThanks Iza for this article.
ReplyDeleteTwo years ago I realized that non-active life cause that i felt forever sleepy and tired. Then I started eating healthier and go to yoga class. After 2 months I noticed that my concentration was getting better, I was more active, I felt so fresh, full of energy.
Unfortunetly, currently I'm non-active again. Your post bring me this days back, and you know what? I'm going to yoga on Tuesday.
Iza, great topic ...like water for my mill! :) I always loved being active, not even knowing why do I feel so good afterwards... Now I’m more aware what happens: about endorphin boiling in my body, that you can exercise in the way that calories are burn even when you’ve finished, that your metabolism gets better, you mental abilities gets better... It really is healthy and make you more happy if you do it in reasonable way.
ReplyDeleteBut like many other people I rarely had time... Until someone gave me a great and simple advice “Keep doing what you’d like to change/do in your life for 8 weeks”. Sounded so stupid I had to try. And it turned out to be true - not because it’s a magical spell - but because 8 weeks is enough to find ways to fit “that thing” into your plans and weakly schedule... You work out ways to manage to do “that” and you finally start to think about that differently – no as something additional, but simply as part of your daily plan.. I exercise 3 times a weak now, and can’t imagine otherwise.. Like you wrote in the article, I feel bad without it. So I happily recommend “the 8 weeks method” to all of those who want to change something in their lives - not necessarily exercise...

ReplyDeleteIt is a well known fact, that one needs to have any type of exercise to stay fit and healthy. It is also true, that exercises come with a lot of sacrifice and pain, but their effects on our organisms are priceless. As you have mentioned, it is scientifically proven, that physical exercise has a direct impact on chemical reactions occurring in the human body. These reactions lead to many terrific results, like stress-release, physical and psychical comfort, general well-being. Also, obviously, regular training means good physical shape and good looks.
DeleteI sometimes run or exercise with video guidance of celebrities, found on the internet :) but it’s somehow hard for me to find the time after work to do regular exercises. I know it needs to change, but it takes a though decision and keeping a strict schedule. Also being well–organized would help.
Even though I don’t exercise regularly, I am trying to keep a healthy diet. It is getting easier and easier to find healthy food products nowadays.
LOL, damn! Please... I train hard at the gym, but the summer is getting closer and closer, and I still have got a lot work to do with my not existing six pack :-) I actually was at the gym today. I don't really like the urban-training activity and I don't know why, it's one of those things you don't like and you can't tell why :-) It just seems strange to me. Running in between walking by people and bikes and stuff. My training plan is going to the gym every monday, wednesday and friday, I think most of people does the same, it's pretty standard schedule. Anyways, sometimes, like today I just think that there is never too much of developing trainings like stationary bike, so if I am motivated enough, I just go the gym. The gym is always a good idea when you have no special plans for the evening. I think we all want to be fit but most of all we want to be healthy. Unfortunately some of the people which does the urban-training are not prepared well, the shoes they use are not meant for running also they doesn't care about the heart rate and they overtrain themselves. In the end it is not healthy to train like this but it's still better than not doing anything. I really don't know anyone who's addicted to the physical activity and I don't know how does it feels like but I definitely know alot of people which love to train and it's some kind of a process, when you train you try to keep the diet, then it comes to the better results, then you see the results and you want to train more, and again and again.
ReplyDeleteI had been doing a lot of sports when I was younger: football, basketball, skateboarding and volleyball. All these are team sports, and other buddies' presence was why I was doing it. After high school and my first or second studies' year, many of us went separate ways, and our team collapsed, so I didn't have the drive to train some individual discipline - running, swimming or a gym is just too boring for me.
ReplyDeleteSpring is starting, so it is time for some 'budget indoor snowboarding' - I'm fresh off a weekend trip to Lithuania (Druskienniki Snow Arena to be exact) and I expect to be there soon, when I manage to find a free weekend.
As it comes to sports my favorites are windsurfing, kitesurfing which I can do only on summer and spring. During the year I do gym and swimming which are best for capacity and physical strength. It’s the best way to blow off steam after stressful day. I totally agree that if you do sports regularly you get yourself more organized in other areas. What is obvious that it’s good for your health, but don’t do marathons because its unhealthy for your body.
ReplyDeleteI really love hiking,it makes me very happy. I started it with my friend who was a mountain guide and he took me once for a trip. But I don't know how to convince
ReplyDeleteanybody, people like different things, physical activity is only cool for
someone whos like it.
I am lazy bones, completely. Well mayby it is not only about being lazy but the amounts of learning are quite huge so I sit and learn, not thinking about doing any exercises. I have to admit that in spring I gain motivation and start doing something, for example: running, exercise at home, but when it comes to exams I transform into a jelly again. I know that exercises would help me to stay healthy but simply my time for them is limited. I believe that this year I would be more active :).
ReplyDeleteI like keeping fit, being on a healthy diet and training but it takes much time and energy, which we need at school. Adherence to low-calories diet is not a good idea in winter because when the temperature outside is low our bodies need more energy, there are also less possibilities to do sport, for example running on snow and ice may be dangerous for our bones and lungs. It is easier to start training in spring, 30 minutes of running 3 times a week can significantly raise your confidence
ReplyDeleteBeing active is the easiest and the nicest thing you can gift to yourself! It helps preserve your body and keep it healthy, thus extending your natural lifespan, so you can enjoy a life a little bit longer. :)
ReplyDeleteWhen it comes to being active, it is so popular these days. More and more people do training twice a week, go to gym, run or just take up plain exercises at home. I don’t have only one favourite activity. In my free time I prefer jogging and rollerblading but this kind of exercise make me also fun and joy. In winter I love snowboarding. This is my favourite winder sport discipline! Feeling free, adrenaline, rush, excitement – this words suit to snowboard. Every summer me and my family go to Tatra Mountain and spend great time on hiking in the mountains. The most exciting are breathtaking views, fresh air, smell of dwarf mountain pine and clear streams. Three years ago I started snowboarding. Before it I had learned skiing. Once, my brother suggested me trying another way of spending time on a slope. My first time with snowboard was horrible! I got some bruises and no willingness to do it next time. The beginning was tough but is was getting better and better. Now, I love it and I can imagine winter without heavy snowfall and great conditions on the slope.
ReplyDeleteI find exercise to be way too tiring, and things like good health and fitness are just not motivating enough for me. I had an episode of going to the gym for some time. I bought a membership together with my friend and we started going together. We spent an equal amount of time there yet she was hooked after two weeks while I just kept feeling worse and worse. I gave up after a month. So I can't really find a way to persuade other people to exercise other than to maybe find a interesting sport? Like rock climbing, martial arts or horse riding. I might give it a try if the sport itself interested me, rather than just being motivated by it's results.
ReplyDeleteI really don't understand those "oh gosh, summer is coming, i HAVE TO LOOK FIT, WHERE IS MY SIX-PACK?!" Calm down, folks. Nobody really cares if someone have muscles on belly or not really. Why would someone think about something like that? Personally when - and if, because I'm rather avoiding sun and crowds - i go to te beach, i want to lie down on a warm sand and spend some time in cool water, I don't care about how other people looks like and i really can't believe that i'm the only one like that.
ReplyDeleteSometimes i like to go for jogging. I do it hardly never regulary, only when i feel like doing it - sometimes i don't do it for weeks, but i can't deny that feeling during running is the best. It simply makes me feel happy and i love it, it's like you can do whatever you want. Few month ago i had few weeks when i was doing some exercises everyday - crazy pilates almost-two-months. I don't even know why i started doing it but it was fun anyway.

ReplyDeleteI used to play football. I put the firts step in football when when i was 14. It was a real expirience. It has helped me with health problems. I had stronger immunity and whole organism. If you do sometginf reguraly it's healthy but if you are out of the rutine it could be harmful. Key to stay fit it's regural training. No matter how but regular.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion physical activity is important thing in our life not only in spring but all year, always. Generally I like sports. When I was in primery school I was playing footboll and table tennis. I really was good. I do not take part in any competition now, but I am jogging two times a week and going to the gym three of four times a week. I do a lot of exercises to all parts of the body.
ReplyDeleteI realy like to ride a bike at summer, it is fabulous to turn on your favorite musice and ride through streets of you town. In winter I love skating, it is my passion. I'm not a professional, but I am skating since 8 years and do it not bad. I don't do sport every day, but I want to. I tried to begin do it systematically, but my aziness killed all my attempts.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to gym, but I prefer fitness because than I know how to do exercises good. And in fact I need someone to go with me, going myself I feel bad, overweight and worse than all these beautiful girls on gym! That's stupid but true.
ReplyDeleteI like riding a bike but now I need to buy new one and since last year I've been trying to buy rollers.
In spring time I run with my boyfriend and go for long walks. (Mostly!)
Still, I'm lazy person, I don't eat so healthy as I should and that's the worst thing of my lifestyle.
My favorite activity is karate. I was practicing karate for 6 years and have same long pause from it but I want to come back. I started when I was 10 and was bored in holiday time. Our sensei was teaching as for free and it was not only about fighting but also about philosophy of karate.
ReplyDeleteI think that a lot of people feel better after activity. Lazy bones didn’t find suitable for them, mayby the tried only boring or to tough disciplines.
I like many forms of active recreation. I use the gym during the academic year. I go there for classes such as body shape, aerobic or power fit. During the holidays I like running, roller skating and cycling, but I also use videos of exercises on YouTube. I also go to the mountains to climb in the beautiful Tatra Mountains.
ReplyDeleteI do not remember when I started my preparation with sport. From an early age I liked to dance, play handball and run.
I always feel better after the exercises, so despite the fact that I often do not want to start, I know that after finishing the exercises I will feel much better and that motivates me to exercise.
I like to run in the mornings, especially when I'm at my grandmother's during the holidays. In this time I listen to special music – thanks to that I’ve great memories of my childhood. I also swim in cold water in the winter - like a walrus. It's popular in my city, especially among old people, but I convinced some friends that it's a great experience.
ReplyDeleteDespite this, I have big problem with keeping a healthy lifestyle. I'm addicted to sweets and I don't eat many vegetables. I haven't much time to rest and sleep because of learning at nights. I know it's bad for my body, but I don't have a strong will to change it.
My favourite activities is Zumba and going to the gym. Zumba is a kind of dance which mix fitness regime and a full body workout cardio. I love dancing all the time and I decided to start Zumba. It was 3 years ago. Going to the gym is my new activities and I believe that I develop a taste for a cardio training. I think that when we want to start work out we should wonder what kind of exercises enjoy us. When we love dancing it could be fitness training for example Zumba, Aerobics etc. Moreover, we should know that doing exercises is for us, to feel better and not for anyone else. When we will remember about this we will achieve a success in regular workouts.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy rollerblading and volleyball. I used to play in it at school and thanks to that I really like this sport. The rollers are a good alternative for me, to running that I hate. I also like riding a bike. It gives me the opportunity to combine long trips with sport. I think for those who don’t like running and going to the gym, it is good to say that they should try to find a sport that will bring them joy. I'm sure they'll will be healthier and happier.
ReplyDeleteWell the only thing I do to be active is going on zumba once a week but I really love that! Every tuesday I try to switch off computer, get up from bed and go to zumba. Zumba involves dance and aerobic movements performed to energetic music and it's really fun. I also love going mountains, but I can't do that regularly. When spring will come I will try to go for a walks and maybe runnig. We'll see. :)
ReplyDeleteThe physical activity has a lot of good consequences. When we practise some sport regularly, it makes us healthier, happier and more prepared for new challenges. We stress less and burn more calories. But I believe that the most telling argument is the fact that persons who practise sports, live much longer healthier than the others (even eight years). The satisfaction of improving our condition is something which is unique. I love swimming in summer and skiing in winter and I believe that practising these disciplines is really good to maintain our health.

DeleteAll people should exercise. One person needs some light training while another one enjoys sweating and feeling pain of their body after a nice train. We should accustom our bodies to any even the lightest regular exercise or movement. If done properly, we can avoid different afflictions in the future. I try to visit gym 3 times a week. I attend different classes like zumba, TBC or Step. I recommend it to everybody not only to those who want to be slim and fit but just for better mood.
ReplyDeleteMy fave activities are riding a bike, swimming, going on the long walks and dancing(zumba). I swim and dance(zumba) once a week. I don't really have to convince myself to do this because i like doing those things. Often I go on zumba with friends so it's a lot of fun. Swimming make me more relaxed than sleeping. If you like doing something it's really easy to do it regularly.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite activites are dancing and riding a bike. I also like team sports like volleyball and handball. I'm trying to workout regularly, at least twice a week, because it gives me lots of positive energy. After hard training I forget about bad mood I had before it. I liked PE - I wasn't the most athletic but I always do my best. People should do sport regularly, because it is really for health. It also make us feel better and helps to keep fit.
ReplyDeleteFor me being active is one of few trends which I count as profitable. Personally I like running and if a weather is enough good to not get ill, I try run at least five kilometres. Especially I like run evening when I can chillout and I needn't hurry for other activity and mantle. I think that sports activity is a good way for stress (for one exam session; ventilating is necessary for our organism), for daily problems and simply to keep fit.
ReplyDeleteI recommend regular activity for everyone.
I enjoy physical activity nevermind the season of the year! MY favourite is attending fitness training in groups, dancing and summer sports. I try to do sport quite regularly by attending to gym for example. T my mind the best way to encorage our bones to move up is realising that our body has to move from time to time and instead of health benefits it can makes us a lot of fun.
ReplyDeleteI have started working out when I was in primary school. I always wanted to be a model, so I tried to shape my body a little. It was nothing special, only some exercises for legs and belly. When I was older, I have been working out with Ewa Chodakowska and Mel B, I have also tried some Cindy Crawford's workouts. Nowadays I run, swim (sometimes) and try my best at cardio workouts. I like it very much, it is fun and during that I can stop thinking about my problems. It is a rest for our brains.
ReplyDeleteTo be completely honest, I'm not kind of sport person. I have tried many sports activities, but I haven't found anything, which fits perfectly for me yet. I like riding a bike, but it's not exercise, which we can do all year. I also like swimming, but I'm not the best swimmer and I make many mistakes.
ReplyDeleteSports activities are very important - it helps us lead a healthy lifestyle and maintain a nice figure, but unfortunetely I know that not everyone can afford for that.
