Is there an upper age limit when it comes to tattooing? more and more often, many people decide very late for tattoos in their lives. Many people thinking about such a decoration on the body express the uncertainty of whether it falls out at this age?
Relax - in a tattoo studio, no one against your will will not tattoo your back at once. Tattoo can be small, delicate, discreet. If you are not sure how the environment will react, you can start with something small. A a tattoo artist is there to advise you well and cooperate with you. No worries.
TATTOO FOR ALL
The times in which the tattoo was associated only with the crime were gone. Currently, this profession grows out of the craft and aspires to the name of art. There are different people, younger people, older men, women, men, senior people, people of art, people of science, working people, fathers and mothers, wives and husband, singles, students, why there would be an upper age limit in this case ?If you have any concerns, visit the tattoo studio for a consultation, talk to the tattoo artist, ask any questions. Nobody will be surprised, nor laugh, it's normal! Tattoo slowly ceases to arouse controversy and be taboo. The truth is that a lot of time will pass before the tattoo will be widely accepted, but everything goes in the right direction.
SKIN IS A DIFFICULT MATERIAL
Our skin, as we are, is aging and over time it dries faster, flares, wrinkles. Only an experienced artist can handle such a client. Very dry and flaccid skin can react badly to the tattoo process in the hands of an untrained tattoo artist, because it reacts like a parchment, is sensitive and can easily lead to overworking of the material and prolonged healing process.
HEALTH IS THE BASIS
Please remember that tattooing is really a small procedure that has a significant impact on the state of the whole body. It comes to interrupting the continuity of the skin, during which we apply to ourselves a foreign body, which is a dye. If the body is weakened at the start, after tattooing the more will be exposed to infections and all attacks from the outside, because all its processing power will engage in the healing of a fresh wound. It is important to hydration, balanced diet and movement, so that people enjoy their health for a long time and this applies to customers of all ages, because not once or twice, very young people have a problem with it.
However, I know that over the years various ailments and affections like to stick to a person more and more. No one can fool us, our body wears up sooner or later. Inform your tattooist about your health, if you are taking medication for constantly, especially thinning blood, this is extremely important information. If necessary, the responsible artist will recommend consulting a doctor. If your body is generally in good shape, no problem, you can be happy to meet your dream tattoo.

1. What do you think about tattooing?
2. Is the age irrelevant make a tattooing?
3. Do you have any tattoo?
I think it's a great and very difficult art. I really like tattoos and I would like to do a tattoo myself. However, I can not decide on a pattern, because it will stay with me for the rest of my life. I believe people who are not adults should not be able to do a tattoo. Currently, I do not have any tattoos.

ReplyDelete1. Tattoos are an extra thing. Unfortunately, my fiance hates them and I will not do it myself ... although if I really wanted to, I would not care about him :P
ReplyDelete2. My cousin is doing tattoos. Recently a 60-year-old lady came to her and said, that she wanted to have a tattoo all her life and finally decided to make her dream come true. So - yes. I think that tattoo can be done at any age.
3. Unfortunately not :(
I don’t have any tattoo and I’ll never have. However if you recommend us (or advertise?) tattoos maybe you can answer a question, what for? If I do something, especially something having long term consequences, I try to think what is my aim. What is an aim of being tattooed? I don’t find any. Moreover most of tattoos, that I have seen are ugly. Examples, which are in your post are trashy for me. Undoubtfully person who draw this pictures is talented, but for me it is wasting talent and abilities.
ReplyDeleteBody tattooing doesn't have to have a purpose, remember.
DeleteIt's not the middle ages... We dont live in times where tattoos on the body must have meaning. It is a shame for you to say that tattoos must have a purpose. Give me a reason why you say that this girl is wasting her talent. What is talent development for you, hm?
Probably you dont know the technique and the implementation of tattoo treatments. Or you have very poor taste and
you have no idea about it
Do you really don’t think about purpose of your activity? When you decided to study didn’t you ask yourself why to do it, is it reasonable? If you are in close relation with a woman don’t you ask yourself, if it make sense, why am I with this person? I ask myself such questions, so I am also asking why to have tattoo? What is a purpose of doing permanent change in your body? Why do people need to have a picture on their body? Does it demonstrate something? Do they feel better having it and, if yes, why? If I buy myself something new, something which I haven’t had before I ask myself if I really need it. I don’t think it’s a shame to ask those questions. I supposed that you or some of your friends may have a tattoo, so you know why people do that. I know one person who has it, but she can’t say much more than “I wanted to do it”.
DeleteFrom emotional tone of your response I deduce that you are in relation with the person, who did those tattoos. My aim wasn’t to offend her, on the contrary, I praised her talent, I stopped in my drawing abilities on the level of 10-years-old child, so I will never draw as she. I just think that if somebody has talent, he/she should use it for good of others. I don’t find good in tattoos, but as I wrote above I don’t find aim in them at all, so if you understand more than I, you can just explain me it and widen my perspective.
From time to time I have thoughts about tattoo, but after short period of time I forget about it and probably that's the reason I don't have any - I just don't need them. Maybe one day I would have something I would need to have on my body but not now. Of course I have no problem of other people having a tattoo - It's their body. I agree that age is irrelevant if you want a tattoo.

ReplyDelete1. What do you think about tattooing?
ReplyDeleteFew years back when was in the UK for the 1st time I was quite suprised how many people have tattoos on visible body parts like hands, neck, forearms etc. For them it was already normal and I think in Poland it's already become normal too. Talking about my opinion tattoos always use to take my interest, especially well delivered oriental content. I'm not strict defined with idea that tattoo have to be a lifetime value with undercover meaning but at the other hand I also think that at some point it's really fascinating that people mark their bodies as an ongoing story.
2. Is the age irrelevant make a tattooing?
For me age is totally state of mind so as long as you're not 14y old teenager who is trying to figure his identity - I'm totally fine with it. So I guess in my opinion 18-birthday limits are fine!
3. Do you have any tattoo?
I've got few but lets keep it that way! :)
Thoughtful tattoos that have their message can be very interesting. Tattoos have begun to be an amazing art and I admire what can be created on a human body.
ReplyDeleteI think that age does matter. We need to see some things and not do something too fast. Although everyone decides for themselves, a tattoo is a serious decision and stays with us for years.
I don't have tattoos, I'm not planning yet. I will see what time will show.

ReplyDeleteI don't feel any need of tatooing myself. If someone wants to have a tatoo then I don't have any problem with it but it's important that they need to be aware of risks.
ReplyDeleteFrom medical point of view if sterile conditions are not met there is a risk of geting infected with HBV, HCV, HIV so it is very important to be sure that tatooing tools are as much sterile as surgical equipment. If person with tatoos ever have a test called an MRI (which creates pictures of the inside of the body), they can have skin pain or burning during the test. That's because tattoo dyes sometimes contain metals, which heat up or move around while inside the MRI machine. Dyes can also cause allergic reactions.
I never could find a good answer to question - why to tatoo myself? What is the reason to do that?
Finally, a topic that really interests me! I really love tattoos. Anywhere and in any form. I believe that they are a beautiful decoration of bodies and a way to present themselves. It is a beautiful souvenir for a lifetime, especially if it has a special meaning. In my opinion, a tattoo can be made at any age. The border does not exist, because why should it exist? Tattoo is a very private matter and should not interest others. So if someone mature wants to do it, I see no reason why he should not do it. Personally, I have one tattoo which I delayed for several years. I wanted to grow up and be sure that this is the pattern I want. I have already planned another tattoo, which I will definitely do this year. Who knows what will happen next. 😊
ReplyDeleteMost of the tatoos I see look miserably. Nevertheless I did see a few tatoos that impressed me a lot. I guess it all depends on personal taste. I think that tatoo can be made at any age. Of course, the older you are, the less flexible is the skin so you better hurry up ;-)
ReplyDeleteI don't have any tatoos and I do not plan to make any for now.
1. What do you think about tattooing?
ReplyDeleteI am an owner of one on my whole right forearm, so I think it's great :) I have my tattoo since highschool and I'm not bored. It gives me some points to masculinity I think :D
2. Is the age irrelevant make a tattooing?
Let human be human, if somebody has a need to tattoo himself/herself, just do it. Who cares? Especially when you're old :D
3. Do you have any tattoo?
Yes, as I said, I have a large tattoo of Aztec warrior and some other stuff connected to Aztec culture on my forearm. I like this tattoo, it reminds me of some period in my life. But I think I will make more tattoos in near future, like full sleeve tattoo.
When I was younger I was always told that tattoos are something bad, something that we shouldn't do and it's only for criminals. Fortunately when I've started meeting more people, working etc I've found out that almost every second person has tattoo and no one really cares about this. I've always been "art" person and finally I've done one and I can't say I regret it.
ReplyDelete2. Is the age irrelevant make a tattooing?
I think the only age which is inappropriate is under 16-18. I know that in this time You already can do it without any parent's permissions etc, but first plan what You want to do in Your life and choose what type of job will You do. Why? Because for some types of work tattoos can still be inappropriate.
Do you have any tattoo?
Yes, last summer I've finally decided to get one. I've fallen in love with nordic mythology and vikings and I asked for raven with nordic rune. I think that's only the beginning.
I think it's great and amazing art but It's kind of shame that they usually are permanent and getting rid of them might be painful. Tastes tend to change over time so I'm not sure enough to tattoo myself.
ReplyDeleteI think it's quite irrevelant but doing tattoo at the young age when person is still growing and personality is not stable yet is stupid and very often becomes stigma rather than decoration.
I don't have any tattoo and as I said before I don't plan to have any in nearest future.
1. I’m neutral about tattoos. If you have them- that’s fine, if you don’t want them that’s also understandable. They can look cool or have a special meaning for the owner.
ReplyDelete2. No, I think the older you are the better choices you make in life. I would advise against having tattoos on your body before you are 20 years old, just be more mature about it and know that it’s going to stay with you forever.
3. No and don’t plan to have it now or in the future.
1. I think that tattoo is art. It's true that nowadays it has become quite popular but thanks to that we have better and better artists, more and more great tattoos and more and more choices when it comes to tattooing styles.
ReplyDelete2. In my opinion, age doesn't matter, but I think very young people shouldn't choose a tattoo, it is known that they can quickly change their minds and this is a decision for a whole life.
3.Yes, I have 2 tattoos. One the small on calf (Stars - I tattooed them myself so they don't look good) and quite large on the whole chest presents moths, colt guns and the heart, made in a comic style with a plenty of colors.
I don't have any tattoos but I really like them. Personally I think it is a form of body art. You can have tattoos of things that are meaningful to you, pieces of writing, pictures, or just have tattoos as fashion. I don't intend to get one myself because I get bored quickly so a permanent drawing on my body is not a good idea. I also don't think that age matters as long as we are talking about adults. However in some cultures tattoos are still being associated with the bad boy or girl image. For example in some Asian countries you can have troubles with finding a white collar job if you have tattoos in visible places.
ReplyDelete1. What do you think about tattooing?
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy good piece of art, and without doubt tattooing is form of art and also with very difficult canvas to work on ;)
2. Is the age irrelevant make a tattooing?
Yea I think age shouldn't be a factor of making a tattoo or not, it should depend on the person that is actually making it.
3. Do you have any tattoo?
From time to time I'm considering making one, but I'm a bit too scared how will it turn out, will it age well with me, or if I won't regret it later. We will see, maybe at some point I will make up my mind.
I do not have a good opinion of tattoos. They come from a different culture, in our cultural circle they were associated with a prison subculture, and now they have become fashionable. I wonder what people with tattoos will do, how fashion will pass, and the tattoo design will turn out not to be thought over.
ReplyDeleteI wonder how the appearance of the tattoo will change with the aging of the body. Will the tattooed look on the flaccid skin look just as beautiful as the week after the performance?
I am surprised that the attitude of the Catholic religion to tattoo is almost nowhere discussed (the tattoo is forbidden - Kpł 19,30)
Answer the question if I have tattoos, I leave reading intelligences ;-)
1. Honestly I have never been a big of tattooing. To me they do not seem very aesthetically appealing, more rude and vulgar. I have seen
ReplyDeletemany people with bad appearance wearing them, along with jewellery
like earrings in the noses. I understand, that tattoos are a sing
of rebellion and are included in some subcultures, for example many
musicians have them.
2. I guess they are mostly worn by young people, who consider it a sign of rebellion. They are somehow anti-establishment. I know that
with age they get disfigured and start looking bad on the skin.
Probably not many old people consider getting one.
3. No, I don't have any tattoos, never had any plans to make them and guess will never have any.
I think some good made tattoos are looking pretty cool. I think that people can express them selfs and important values it their lives. I also think that tattooed person is automatically judged by their looks. I think age could relevant to age. Till in certain age young people tries to express them selfs.
ReplyDeleteI don't have any tattoo, but I would like to have one that I would be certain I want to have.
If you are mature every age is good for tattooing. I think, that young people shouldn’t do any tattoo, because they don’t know if it suits their future job. Older one often knows what they want and what they can, so there is not a bad time for tattooing. I don’t have any, but someday I will make one, maybe “Judo” in Japanese. It looks like this: “柔道“ :)
ReplyDeletePersonally I think that tattooing is great. In some cases the art of tattooing can be magnificent, but there are also tattoos done by some unexperienced artists or simply non-talented ones which various examples you can find on the web, laugh is guaranteed. I believe that age is not a boundary and people should not really look into it. I wouldn't like my children to have tattoos as this is something that stays with us permamently unless removed by a surgeon. My friend wanted to make himself a huge tattoo on his back with a polish husaria illustration and he was 15 years old back then. He's now thanking his parents that they have stopped him from doing so. Imagine a corporate business guy with such image on a back. I do not have any tattoos, but I will make myself one in a future probably.
ReplyDeleteTattooing is a really nice art form, I have many friends that are tattoo artists and was able to see the process few times, as mentioned it takes a lot of work and a lot of skill to be a decent tattoo maker. But it take something more to be great one.
ReplyDeleteI can't agree with earlier comment that stated that you need to mature enough to have a tattoo, I actual think that tattoos are telling a story about our life and bad or missed choices are part of the story as well :)
I have few tattoos myself and I can't tell if I'm done with them I guess when I will feel sudden urge I will just do next one :)
1. What do you think about tattooing?
ReplyDeleteI think tattooing is great. I love searching Internet for unique tattoos and great designs. I especially love the idea of tattoo artists that make unique designs just for you. I don't have anything against more popular concepts like flowers, birds and recently forest designs etc. but having something designed just for me in unique style would be the best!
2. Is the age irrelevant make a tattooing?
Absolutely not, my body, my choice, age does not take part in conversation like this one.
3. Do you have any tattoo?
No, but I am planning to get some. I really love the idea of tattoos, I am just collecting the money and ideas for now.
1. What do you think about tattooing?
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion tattooing is a form of expressing its owner character. It could be an amazing art and completely disaster also. I’m quite neutral about it.
2. Is the age irrelevant make a tattooing?
I think tattooing body before 18 birthdays shouldn’t be allowed. When I was 16, I wanted to get a tattoo and now I’m happy that my parents didn’t agree with me.
3. Do you have any tattoo?
No, I haven’t.
1. What do you think about tattooing?
ReplyDelete2. Is the age irrelevant make a tattooing?
3. Do you have any tattoo?
3. No.
2. Yes.
1. It depends. Some tattoos are a piece of art, some are just a crap. So a person should think hard before he/she will make one. Especially that it is hard to remove a tattoo and you can get bored with some, which was made in a past. Or you can regret it. Etc. etc. Personally I think human body is beautiful enough and there is no need to paint it especially in a lasting way. If you would like to make some art on your body, after some time, there would be no more place for a new art there and it would be a pity. For me better is to have an art in mind, in character etc, and my plane body has no tattoo and at the same time has all the possible tattoos it could have, in my imagination :) And secondly, humans should care about their physical bodies' shape firstly, and not try to make bodies more beautiful in an 'easy' way by tattooing it, before they make bodies beautyfull without it.
I don't think tattooing is a bad thing. A tattoo can mean more than a thousand words. A tattoo often means something very important for a given person and sometimes it's just a stupid whim. No less, it respects people who have tattoos well thought out and really mean something to them. I don't have any tattoo myself, but who knows, maybe one day he will decide to immortalize something on his skin:) Age certainly plays an important role in the process of tattooing. As you wrote, our skin is also getting older and we have to make wise decisions about the tattoo. And above all, choose a wise tattoo artist.

ReplyDeleteIt has never crossed my mind to have a tattoo. First of all, I am afraid of them for health reasons – I am scared of getting infected with some nasty illness in a tattoo studio. Hardly anyone from my closest friends have tattoos – only one of them has a little, subtle one on his arm – I think having such tatoo would be acceptable for me. On the hand, I can tell that tattoos are prevalent, seeing many people covered with them. I have nothing against tattoos (I am only sceptical and curious how would they look like on the old skin – I think rather awful). Some people definitely exaggerate with tattoos – placing them on their necks and faces. In many companies (particularly in those operating in banking industry), it is still unacceptable to have visible tatoos during office hours, while working with a client. To sum up, tattoos are ok, but within reason (as everything)
1. What do you think about tattooing?
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I don't really like tattooing and also, don't understand it.
Don't get their purpose.
2. Is the age irrelevant make a tattooing?
Sometimes yes, as it's really hard to delete them after some time.
3. Do you have any tattoo?
I don't have any tattoo, also my friends don't have it neither
The tattoo is definitely in my plans. To be honest, I wonder about it for some time, more with each passing day. Tattoo is for the rest of my life (of course, there is possibility to remove a tattoo, but it is completely against its purpose) so, I have a lot to think about. In my opinion it doesn’t matter when I make my decision, if it will be this year, next year or in five years, the result is all that counts. Tattoo is the perfect way to express yourself. I think that tattoos are great to commemorate important events, dates, people or emotions.
ReplyDeleteI have really different opinion about tattoos. I can understand it as an art because they require high skills in drawing. Moreover skin isn’t a paper and using tattoo pen isn’t also the easiest job. However for me tattoos make body looks much worst. For me bare skin is way prettier than with drawings. But in the end I don’t argue about other people bodies and it’s their choice.
ReplyDeleteAs I mentioned for me it has no matter if people do it and at whenever age.
I don’t have any and I’m not planning to. Back in the days I wanted to make a blood type tag tattoo but I’ve read that none medical worker makes decision by a tattoo during blood transfusion.
