I enjoyed especially 2 presentations. First one was Ludwik’s – Week 6: Should we rethink the way we run our schools? ...It was like a revelation to me. I’ll look for such free schools when I have kids! And I’m still listening to the podcasts you recommended last term! So double - thanks! :) The second one was Jakub’s – Week 4: Buddhism. Both presentations told me something I had no idea about. And that one of the reason I like this blog.
Many thanks for the next interesting term together!
I vote for: “Childhood? Yes, I remember” posted by Agnieszka in the first week. I think about my childhood with tenderness and it was a big pleasure for me to recall the times when I was a little boy and I was spending my days on playing and discovering interesting things. And thanks to Agnieszka’s presentation I had chance to do it.
Another term and I think that Ludwik Trammer creates the best presentation from visual point of view, but this time my vote goes to Piotr Wilk. It was hard to pick "The One", but extra credit goes for the theme and the message: Read more! I wish that some of us, who read his post, went to the shelve, took the book and started with the first chapter(or introduction). And for that I want to thank him with my vote.
The best presentation for me was the presentation of the "Virtual Travels with Google" in week 3 because it has a very interesting topic and I'm most interested.
I vote for Ewa's presentation: "Is it still Polish?" posted in the fourth week. In my opinion, this lecture was interesting, comprehensive, and it reminded me my old TV heroes from the childhood.
I vote for Artificial Intelligence: danger or opportunity - by Kamil. I had a chance to think about our culture, nature etc. I don't have a lot of time for this now days and you presentation was a good opportunity to stop thinking about my work. Thanks again Kamil!
The presentation that brough the biggest smile to my face was the one from Week 1, prepared by Agnieszka - the one about childhood. It reminded me of my childhood, which is a very happy memory. Thanks for this original topic!
