  1. My vote goes to Ludwik (Week 7: Audio podcast), for actually changing my life a little bit - I've never "used" podcast before, but after reading Ludwik's presentation I bought Pocket Cast app (recommended by him) and I started to listen. And from that day I do it regulary. Not only is it a real pleasure by itself, but also much needed relaxation time for my eyes.

    1. Wow, thanks! This was precisely the intention behind my presentation, so it's really cool to hear that at least in some cases it actually worked. You made my day :)

  2. For me the best presentation was Week 4:Happiness and Money (Piotr Wilk). Really good and "always on time" in our days topic, not too long, not too short and crowned with an interesting discussion.

  3. My vote goes to "Getting sleepy" presentation. It showed me that we don't necessary need to do, what other people do, and what we were told to do since the childhood... Let’s question and challenge the status quo! ;)

  4. Thank you, Kasia, very much appreciated :) To be honest, the thought of one drifting away from standard civilization sleeping habits hadn't crossed my mind at the time of writing my presentation :)

My personal favourite is "Week 6: Asia Trip - Hong Kong" by Simon S. Great photos and many interesting facts on display, with "Octopus" universal payment system being an absolute stunner for me.

  6. Selecting only one presentation that is the best, was a difficult task. In my opinion, each topic had brought something new and interesting up. I forced myself to pick only one, but couple of them were roughly competing for the title of "my favourite". Those were “Mobile Device Security” (Kasia S.), “What is it like to be ...?” (Albert Pęksyk) and “Why are we so jealous?” (Agnieszka). The first one concerns issues important to each user of the new technologies. I really liked that Kasia showed us many facts about security of our mobile devices and gave us some practical advice on how to defend against data thieves. Albert's presentation forced me to make a deeper reflection on some metaphysical issues and it was a nice change, because my everyday thoughts focus mostly on more earthbound matters. Agnieszka raised the topic that is always on time and stirs a lot of emotions.
Summing things up, all presentations were valuable, but because we had to choose, I am voting for “Mobile Device Security” (Kasia S.).

  8. Indeed, hard choice. We've had a lot of great posts.
My vote goes to Week 6: The UK Symbols. Interesting theme, presented in a nice fashion and the discussion was lively. Maybe that's me being the UK geek, but this voting about opinions , isn't it ? :)
